Oct. 3, 2011 - Cable & Wireless Communications' Lime telecommunications subsidiary, which serves 13 Caribbean countries, has picked Avail-TVN to deliver a multiplatform IPTV service to subscribers starting in Jamaica and Barbados in the fourth quarter.

May 27, 2011 - The Inter-American Telecommunication Commission (CITEL) of the Organization of American States has signed a cooperation agreement with the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) to provide greater cooperation, exchange of information, and reciprocal representation between the two entities, among other things.
