BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, Aug. 7 (CPDC) - The regional umbrella body of non-governmental organizations, the Caribbean Policy Development Centre (CPDC), today launched a regional project aimed at improving the free movement of artisans and domestic under the Caribbean Community Single Market & Economy (CSME).
Nov. 21, 2012 - The Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) is reporting that 18,000 new persons were employed as at July this year, to bring the total number (of persons employed) to 1,094,700, an increase of 11,100 persons, relative to the similar period last year.

Basseterre - March 1, 2012 - The Government of St. Kitts and
Nevis has deposited with the International Labour Office the instrument
of ratification of the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (MLC, 2006),
thus becoming the 23rd member State to ratify the landmark Convention,
which seeks to promote decent working and living conditions for
seafarers and also create conditions of fair competition for ship
owners.

notice on Petrotrin yesterday morning and in a surprising twist, it was
Government Senator David Abdulah who signed the notice, heralding “90
days of war.”

to the Governor’s office where they chained doors to a building in
which a meeting of UK-advisors was being held.
