June 10, 2012 - (trinidadexpress.com): Regional low-fares airline REDjet has suspended operations, sent home employees and filed for insolvency. In a statement sent to the Express yesterday, the Barbados-based airline said it had filed with the Supervisor of Insolvency in that country a "notice of intention to make a proposal" to the company's creditors under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
Port-of-Spain - April 2, 2012 - REDjet's airline license to fly has been revoked by the Trinidad and Tobago Civil Aviation Authority (TTCAA), Transport Minister Devant Maharaj disclosed yesterday.

Aug. 8, 2011 - The low-cost carrier REDjet has now been given the all clear to operate in territories beyond T&T; and the territories it received licences for. This, according to Sandra Welch-Farrell & Company, the public relations and human resources consultant for REDjet. The company stated that REDjet has received licences from the T&T; Civil Aviation Authority to operate scheduled passenger air services to and from Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, to Georgetown, Guyana, and Kingston, Jamaica, as intermediate and points beyond T&T.;
Port-of-Spain - July 18, 2011 - The Government is pleased to announce that the court action brought by the operators of Airone Limited, trading as REDjet, commercial air services, against the Civil Aviation Authority of Trinidad and Tobago and Mr. Amral Mohammed, in his capacity as Chairman of the Air Transport Licensing Authority of Trinidad and Tobago has been settled on terms which are mutually acceptable to all parties.

has expressed regret at REDjet’s struggles and warned of significant
fallout if it does not get off the ground again.
Feb. 17, 2012 - (thedailyherald.com): - REDjet announced plans Thursday to begin service to St. Maarten from Barbados. In a statement, it said that having received the necessary licenses required to fly to St. Maarten, the airline would launch sales in about two weeks, and anticipated the sale of its "famously low fares" during the first week of March.

low-fares airline REDjet its commercial licence to begin operations in
Trinidad and Tobago because it is yet to receive the airline's
application from the Trinidad and Tobago Civil Aviation Authority
(TTCAA).
