Sept. 10, 2011 - Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Grenada, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago have officially notified their consent for receiving on-site visits for the Fourth Round of Review of the Mechanism for Follow-up on the Implementation of the Inter-American Convention against Corruption (MESICIC).

Sept 9 afternoon, the Permanent Mission to the OAS from each of these six countries officially communicated their consent to the Technical Secretariat of the MESICIC, in accordance with the Methodology for Conducting On-site Visits that was adopted by the Committee of Experts of
this Mechanism.

Consequently, this makes 26 States Parties to the MESICIC that have consented to these visits: Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, The Bahamas, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, the United States and Uruguay.
