AirTran Expands Caribbean Flight Options, Unveils Seasonal Service

The Caribbean expansion includes daily service to Aruba and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, from the carrier's hub in Atlanta, as well as new, nonstop flights from Milwaukee to Cancun, Mexico.
Seasonal service will begin to several of the airline's most popular spring and summer destinations in the coming weeks, including new, nonstop flights from Baltimore/Washington International to San Francisco.
In addition, seasonal service begins from Baltimore/Washington to Los Angeles on March 8, 2011, and to Seattle on May 4, 2011. The airline also will begin previously announced service to Bermuda and increase service to San Juan, Puerto Rico, to twice daily on April 5, 2011, while adding a second daily flight on Saturdays and Sundays to Montego Bay, Jamaica, on Feb. 26, 2011.
In addition to the Miwaukee-Cancun flights, AirTran also will increase service to Tampa, Fla., and Phoenix to twice daily from Milwaukee for the summer beginning May 3, 2011.
AirTran will resume seasonal service between Tampa and Asheville, N.C., on May 6, 2011. The carrier further will launch previously announced service from Tampa to Key West, Fla., on March 10, 2011, and to San Juan, Puerto Rico, on April 5, 2011.
