Bridgetown -- March 11, 2010 -- Caribbean Media Corporation ( CMC ) signed an agreement on the 10th March 2010  to become the production and broadcast partner for the upcoming Sexxx Sells TV talk show.

Sexxx Sells is a TV/Internet talk show which aims to captivate, intrigue and entertain a worldwide audience of millions of viewers, while giving them a close up view of the mechanics and dynamics of the global sex industry.

Executive producer and host of the show Charles Lewis states "The aim of the show is also to inform and educate our audiences on the harsh realities from the darker side of the Global Sex Trade as they seek to uncover the truth and take them beyond the speculations, misconceptions, lies, myths, stereotypes and hypocrisy about this taboo subject, which continues to intrigue the masses on either side of the fence ."

Lewis says " The show will offer an in-depth, unbiased look at the issues which tend to be marginalized, ignored and swept under the carpet as a result of moralistic views, political expedience and hypocrisy."

The producers state that the objective of the show is not to glorify the Sex Industry or to encourage anyone to get involved. The aim is to educate and inform viewers about the facts and the issues, and to give everyone a forum to voice their concerns, complaints opinions and views

The Sexxx Sells talk show is just one of the strategies developed by the Sex Trade Impact organization, which uses its expertise and resources in the sex industry to empower our partners to address the issues which exist as a result of the phenomenal growth and size of the global sex trade.

After several
talks with Patrick Cozier and Jo Spalburg both of CMC, an agreement was made to co-produce and broadcast what promises to be the most provocative, engaging and compelling TV shows across the Caribbean.

This partnership will make the Sexxx Sells show available to viewers in 21 Caribbean countries and the North American diaspora, via the CaribVision TV Channel.

Lewis says "Sexxx Sells represents a much needed departure from the traditional and conservative programming of the state owned TV stations in the Caribbean, which are suffering badly from loss of viewership and revenue in the face of stiff competition from the Internet and other broadcast sources."

In a recent radio interview on CBC 100.7 FM (Barbados) Lewis got the chance to introduce the upcoming talk show. The response from listeners indicated that Sexxx Sells will definitely have a massive captive audience in the Caribbean.

" The response was a reminder that Sexxx in any form Sells and whether for or against , millions of viewers worldwide from the widest demographic will definitely tune into the Sexxx Sells talk show each week to fuel their views, debates, interest and concerns about this age old subject " Lewis claims.

When asked about the support from advertisers, Lewis remarked that organisations are only concerned that the show is professional, inoffensive and will enable them to reach their target markets. The recession is making advertisers spend their dollars more carefully and they are looking for alternative and more compelling media with guaranteed viewership.
