Organised by the Montserrat Fisherman's Cooperative, with the support of the Montserrat Tourist Board, the event provides an opportunity for avid game fishermen, regardless of skill, to win numerous prizes and bonuses.

The Champion Boat prize of EC$2,500 will go to the heaviest catch and special bonus prizes of EC$1,500 will be offered for anyone breaking the existing records. Prizes for the best catch will also be given in seven (7) categories, including Kingfish, Wahoo, Tuna and Mahi Mahi.
