August 18, 2009 -- (nhc.noaa.gov): Interests in the Leeward Islands should monitor the progress of Bill. At 5am, the center of Bill was located 810 miles east of the Leeward Islands. Bill is moving toward the west-northwest near 17mph and this motion is expected to continue for the next day or two with a gradual turn to the northwest on Wednesday.
