Nassau -- May 21, 2009 -- Bahamas PM:"Initially the Caribbean — Barbados, Guyana, Belize — all of them were led to believe, or led themselves to believe, that Trinidad will stand behind CLICO. It became abundantly clear to us that Trinidad will stand behind CLICO insofar as Trinidad was concerned but not insofar as the rest of the region was concerned, and that persons therefore of various countries had to make their own decisions."
