St. John's -- Feb. 27, 2009 -- Although the House of Representatives passed a motion yesterday
afternoon to acquire lands belonging to Sir Allen Stanford, the
historical sitting of Parliament seemed not to have served the purpose
for which it was initially intended as it more or less turned into a
show of political strength.
