St. John's -- Feb. 13. 2009 -- - The second Digicel Test between the West Indies and England has been abandoned as a draw at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.  This, after 1.4 overs with England on seven without loss.  Fidel Edwards, who opened the bowling attack for the West Indies could not complete his over, after he encountered problems

with the run up.

The umpires along with the Match Referee arrived at their decision after consultation with both captains.  This, after an earlier interruption for rain.  The third Digicel Test will now be played at the Antigua Recreation Grounds, starting on Sunday, 15th February, 2009.  According to the ICC, tickets for the second Test will still be valid for the third Test.
