Jan. 28, 2009 -- The Fifth Meeting of the Prime Ministerial Sub-Committee on the Caribbean Single Market and Economy (CSME) scheduled for this Friday, January 30, and the Special Committee of Heads of Governments Meeting on the Caribbean Regional Negotiating Machinery (CRNM) slated for Saturday, January 31, here in Barbados, have now been rescheduled.

According to the Secretary General of CARICOM, Edwin Carrington, both meetings will now be held in Belize in March. He said the change in dates and venue was: “due to developments which have made it impossible for certain Heads of Government to attend the meetings. It is now proposed to convene these meetings on March 10 and 11, 2009, in Belize City, Belize, immediately preceding the Twentieth Inter-Sessional Meeting of Heads of Government scheduled for March 12 and 13.
