Nassau, Bahamas -- April 18, 2008 -- The Bahamas Diving
Association and Bahamas Ministry of Tourism announces first ever dive symposium
scheduled for June 10th and 11th, Grand
Bahama Island, Bahamas.
This two day event will showcase the best in diving the Islands
of The Bahamas has to offer. Cost is $199, but includes a $350/pp airfare
allocation, meals, hotel and diving.
Neal Watson, President of the Bahamas Diving Association comments "This new
symposium is a great way for dive travel sellers, dive retailers, or dive media
to learn more about the Bahamas
dive product." Mr. Watson continues "Part of our strength as a destination is
that we encompass 700 islands, making the destination very diverse in terms of
types of diving available. The two-day symposium is a hands-on opportunity to
learn more about and experience the dive product within the Islands
of The Bahamas."
Attendees can register on the Bahamas Diving
Vice-President of the Association, Stuart Cove, comments "The Islands of The Bahamas are famous for big animals, sharks, dolphins and an incredible diversity of marine life. Part of our challenge is to show that diversity, and this symposium is an effort to showcase our diversity."
The two-day event takes place at The Our Lucaya Resort and Pelican Bay Resorts on Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas.
