Nov. 8, 2007 -- The GoWEB Caribbean Portal has officially launched it’s Caribbean Social Project. This project is aimed at introducing the Caribbean to Social Networking which is tailored for the region.

Nov. 8, 2007 -- GoWEB has launched two social sites which allow Caribbean people to share information and views.

GoWEB Social, the flagship product of the project, is a full Social Network. Members (called Neighbours) can share photos, videos and music. They can also write blog entries or participate in the discussion forum.

GoWEB Gallery, which has been launched as a beta project, is a wallpaper / photo site. However, unlike typical wallpaper sites, users can not only download wallpapers, but also rate them, and submit their own albums or wallpapers.

Also of note, is the shopping cart feature, which allows users to add the wallpapers they like to a virtual cart, and download all of them as one file when they’re finished.

GoWEB Social and GoWEB Gallery can both be accessed from the GoWEB Caribbean Portal at www.gowebnow.net or by typing http://social.gowebnow.net and http://gallery.gowebnow.net respectively.
