Nov. 5, 2007 --- The Caribbean Regional Compliance Association (CRCA) is pleased to present the 4th Annual Conference “Taming Compliance: Managing The Risk Monster” in November 2007.

This conference will be a comprehensive and networking opportunity for professionals in compliance, regulatory and anti-money laundering sectors in the offshore financial services industry.  The conference promises to provide delegates with a quality programme of guest lecturers, workshops, panel discussions and a keynote speaker.

Primarily concerned with presenting topics that are of interest to all jurisdictions in the Caribbean, the conference will also examine macro issues facing compliance professionals worldwide with speakers coming from the US, UK, the Caribbean and Europe. Delegates are expected from many of the Caribbean jurisdictions with numbers anticipated to double from the successful 2006 event in Barbados. Known as a “must attend” for leading compliance practitioners and regulators, the CRCA Annual Conference is fast becoming the benchmark for compliance conferences internationally.

The conference in Nassau, Bahamas during 19th– 20th November 2007 will examine Terrorism Implications for Caribbean Financial Institutions, with speaker Brian Ramsey.

Mr. Ramsey has been involved in the security industry for the last 22 years,  has headed a major security company in Trinidad and is presently the Regional Development Director at Amalgamated Security Services in Trinidad and a director of Amalgamated Security Services (Barbados) Ltd.

Brian Ramsey has been a featured speaker on security topics for a variety of corporate entities, civic groups and institutes, plus appearing several times on Trinidad television. In November 2006, he conducted a session on terrorism at the Association of Insurance Institutes of the Caribbean conference in Trinidad and in October 2005 he was a guest speaker at the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors Sales Congress.
