Basseterre, St. Kitts -- Oct. 2, 2007 -- (CUOPM) –
One of the newest cruise ships in the world has included St. Kitts on
its maiden voyage next year.
Celebrity Solstice, the line’s first in a class of four 2,850-passenger
vessels, will also berth at Port Zante on nine occasions between
December 2008 and April 2009.
Visits are planned on December 14th and 28th 2008; January 11th and
25th 2009; February 8th and 22nd 2009; March 8th and 22nd 2009 and
April 5th 2009. The seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise will also take the Celebrity
Solstice, which departs Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to San Juan, Puerto
Rico and Philipsburg, St. Maarten.
German shipbuilder Meyer Werft is building the 122,000-ton ship.
