St. George’s, Grenada – June 18, 2007 - Spectacular views of the
world famous Grand Anse Beach and picturesque St. George’s town; 19th
century Mediterranean styling; Peter De Savary has created Grenada’s
newest fine dining experience, Savvy’s Restaurant. Located at the new Mount Cinnamon
property overlooking Grand
Anse Beach,
Savvy is a fusion of Mediterranean cuisine, Grenadian spices, and five star
services. All of this is set in one of the most stunningly beautiful places in
the Caribbean.
Diners
at the just opened restaurant have been overwhelmed by the one of a kind
experience and the guest book comments have been in high praise of the
ambience, the friendly service and of course the menu. One visitor said “when I
entered Savvy I thought I could have easily been in Sicily
or Naples until I was greeted with beautiful Caribbean smiles complimented by vibrant tropical
colours.”
What
is also special about Savvy is that every table has a spectacular view. Even
while sitting at the bar one can still experience the breathtaking scenes of white
sandy beaches, lush tropical hills and mountains and the historic St. George’s
town.
The
restaurant was opened to the public on Thursday June 21 2007. The opening
featured a six course gourmet menu and a magnificent fireworks display.
