New Website Lets Caribbean People Share Their Stories Online

– A new interesting and interactive website has been added to the World
Wide Web giving Caribbean people of varying ages and backgrounds the opportunity
to publish their stories, whether real-life or otherwise.
Launched
at the beginning of May, 2007, www.CaribbeanRunnings.com is the first website
of its kind in the

addition to writing their stories and having them stored on the website,
CaribbeanRunnings.com will also give Caribbean people, regardless of their
current location, whether North America, Europe or the Middle East, the
opportunity to share in and comment on the experiences of others.
Under the
theme ‘Bringing yesterday’s stories to light,’ www.CaribbeanRunnings.com
will feature a new story each week.
Not only
will CaribbeanRunnings.com encourage more reading among the region’s people.
The website will also encourage writing, documentation and storage of interesting
stories in a manner that will make them available for future generations to
read, whenever they like.
As an
added incentive, CaribbeanRunnings.com will pay writers/contributors for all
stories published on the site.

explained that in keeping with the focus of the website, the writing marathons
would involve students writing stories, the best of which would be published on
the site. In addition to having their stories published, winners of the
different categories would also receive other rewards.
