GBN, Grenada, August 9, 2006...China has agreed to assist Grenada in the area of security for Cricket World Cup next year. A signing ceremony was held at cabinet room on Tuesday.
The ceremony was attended by Commissioner of Police Winston James, Minister for National Security Einstien Louison and General Mang Dong, heading the Chinese delegation.
Senator Louison expressed the gratitude of the Grenadian people for the assistance being provided by China, first in rebuilding the National Stadium and now offering more help in the area of security.
The Chinese official says the relationship shared between Grenada and china is important for both countries.
