The new website, McAdsList.com allows sellers to place ads in their specific island category together with additional photos and unlimited text descriptions. The aim of the new website is to give sellers on the islands the opportunity to really show off their merchandise and provide buyers all of the information they need. Apart from selling items and placing job openings, people can also announce events and find their local news.

Sellers can create their ads as soon as they complete the registration on the website. After the ad is created and you add the photos, your ad is published immediately.
McAdsList supports two great organizations that work hard to preserve the environment in any possible way: Reefcheck and Shifting Baselines.

"Many people just throw out their stuff when they buy something new, but that old couch might be an awesome couch to someone else", Meg Jansen explains. "Hopefully McAdsList becomes a place where people will announce their yard sales or start making some money on items they don't have a need for anymore. Every little thing helps to reduce the waste of materials in the world, and thus the environment."

Sellers have access to their listings 24/7 and the listings can be updated at anytime if details need to change. Most categories are free with the exception of real estate, jobs, boats and cars, which would be charged a below market price. There isn't any time limit for ad placements; the ads will run until the items are sold which could be much quicker than with regular advertising.

McAdsList can become a Caribbean directory providing access to products, news, services and event information, offered to Caribbean people whether located in Caribbean region or the rest of the world.
