Castries, Saint Lucia - 27 December, 2006 --- Proof that the need to be prepared is not restricted to the Hurricane season of June - November, the Seismic Research Unit has confirmed that an earthquake did occur in Saint Lucia.  On Thursday night 22nd December at 9:28 and 9:30 p.m. local time, two earthquakes occurred in north Saint Lucia.
